Bill McKibben's May 15th talk attracted an overflow crowd to the Bundy Center for the Arts as he speculated on the causes and possible solutions for global warming.

Splashed across headlines these days are the seemingly contradictory pronouncements that while global warming is indeed real and even measurable; the environmental movement of the seventies and the eighties is now dead, or at the very least in its death throes. If these assertions are both true, how did this happen and how can we reconcile these two paradoxical realities? Green Mountain Global Forum will present noted author Bill McKibben in a talk entitled: 'Beyond Environmentalism: Global Warming and The Challenge of Thinking Differently' to address these and other issue.
